About Us
Welcome, my name is Daniel Meissen, and I am the current owner of Meissen and Sons Roofing. Our company was founded by my father, Lawrence Meissen, who began roofing for other roofing companies in 1967. During this time, he learned the properly install roofs so they would last if they are supposed to.
In 1980, my father decided it was time to venture out on his own. Meissen and Sons Roofing was created with the idea that if we always treat people right, take pride in what we do, then our customers will refer us to friends and family.
In the mid 1980’s, I joined my father in the business and began learning what made him successful. In 2006 I took over the business and continued with the ideals instilled by my father. Take care of our customers! Fortunately, my children have expressed an interest in continuing in our footsteps. I intend to expand Meissen and Sons Roofing in a way that my family will be proud of and our customers will brag about.
Our niche is to work on residential roofing and gutters. We hire and train all our employees, ensuring they meet the standards of quality workmanship we have worked so hard for. Our company hires only local employee’s that can answer any questions you might have about the job. We work very hard at keeping the USA job strong. One of the things that sets our company apart from our competition, is that we clean up after ourselves. Everything is left as we found it. We provide premium products and materials to Southern Kansas City Missouri Metropolitan area.
